BS with honors, Georgia Institute of Technology, Master of Business Administration (MBA) with honors, Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina, followed by post graduate Ph.D. studies. Mr. Norman has taught finance theory at the University of Memphis at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and has significant experience in public, private and non-profit organizations ranging from manufacturing to service including hospitality, software development, Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) and automotive/mobility. His background includes financing (IPO, Private Placement, VC, Private Equity, Sale-Leaseback), troubled debt (Chapter 11) workouts and healthcare turnarounds. Mr. Norman is a Certified Public Accountant, and an instrument rated private pilot. He currently serves as Board president of a non-profit providing services to the homeless population as well as a Board member and Chairman of the Finance Committee of a non-profit boys/girls camp and Episcopal retreat center. He has three lovely daughters and enjoys hiking in his spare time.
